Would it be ill-advised to list “Alcoholism” and how long I’ve been in recovery under the Disability section on a scholarship application for graduate school?

Oh my goodness yes! It can only make you look bad, even if you have been in recovery for a long time. Scholarships for the disabled do not go to alcoholics. It is supposed to be something that you will need to overcome in the school environment.
