With me , I thought about all of the down side of doing something, (getting high) and the fact that it was no longer fun for me. The money that I spent getting high was also a factor in being able to quit cold turkey. Not to mention that I was doing something that was unacceptable to a large part of society and illegal to boot. Drinking while it may be legal can start to add up physically, emotionally and economically. Think about all the negatives associated with whatever it is that you want to give up and I’m sure the cons will out weigh the pros.
