Can a Brain Injury Cause Permanent Blindness?
Question by Hell Raiser: Can a brain injury cause permanent blindness?
I’m writing a book at the moment and my main character is blinded in a car accident. I can’t decide on burns to the face results in the blindness or a head injury. Note, she is completely blind and stays that way throughout the book. There is no ‘miracle’ at the end.
If there are any brain specialists out there, please give me a few pointers.
Mitch G, what a great answer. I’m really liking the optic nerve damage, that’ll fit in well.
