My Boyfriend Is Hurtful When He Is Drunk, What Should I Do?

Question by Times New Roman: My boyfriend is hurtful when he is drunk, what should I do?
My boyfriend loves drinking because drinking relaxes him.

The problem is that every time he drinks, he says nasty and hurtful things he regrets saying later, when he is sober. I wonder if these things are true, as alcohol inhibits people.

I don’t know what I should do, I love him, but it is hurtful to having him saying nasty stuff every time he drinks.

His father is an alcoholic.

I would break it off and be friends. Having an alcoholic boyfriend is hurtful for both ends.

Time to leave… it’ll only get worse and soon he’ll start abusing you. Yes, he is a jerk.
