Question by Dimple: What are your opinions on the age of aquarius?
I had a discussion about this with some people who believed the world is truly ending on Dec 21, 2012. They believe the anti christ will be born or we will.be hit by a giant meteor…well holy Hades!!! Where is hercules when we need him…but no…on a more debatable note:

My.opinion is we are on the cusp of the age of pisces and the age of aquarius.

Here is what I mean: pisces is described as a dreamy, religious, mind wavering water sign. They are emotional, romantic, and introverted. They are also great with manipulation and.have a. love for substance abuse.

We do live in a world full of religions, religious Turmoil (war), mind wavering and brainwashing times. the crusades, the holocaust, the muslim wars, etc. Manipulation through politics. Money becomes such an issue, that we can only dream of living in a utopia. We fantasized about celebrities etc. and drugs…woodstock…cannibis…we put.such.a. high value on drugs. this is all due to pisces….

But.wait…in the more recent decades…we come to a more eccentric yet logical way of life.

Aquarius traits: welll first lets look.into who aquarius is…in latin, aquarius translates to the water bearer, the man who fed water to the gods and/or it is said it is zeus bearing water to.his children. Water the essence of survival. How to survive.

Aquarians are.considered intelligent, logical, friendly, a bit awkward, unromantic, enjoys love but afraid to admit it.

Have you noticed there are far more inter racial marriages, technology increases within a couple of months, thee new generation of children are more exposed to the world by the internet and they start questioning their own upbringing? first it started with marrying within your own community, then marrying within your own race, then marrying within your own religion, to marrying someone of the opposite gender, and now we are even given the option of marrying our own gender!!!

kids nowadays are questioning “why” more, because they are far more exposed to other cultures. Music which was once artsy, is now replaced by repetitive beats. Lets not even get into technology. just imagine with technology increasing every couple of months how will it be in.500 years? We are starting to get fed up.of religious wars….in every country…including the ones where rwligiin is suppressed on their people. Think of that muslim girl who was shot for wanting peace. Not only was the world devastated for her, but fellow muslims were devastated. We all are questioning if wer.do.believe, then we must prove.

So this age will be more about proving, technology, and unromantic but friendly ventures. Probably a wake up call. Again, we are on tge cusp so it may take a few hundred years for religion to.disappear, but it just may end.

OBVIOUSLY, this has nothign to do with astrology and we will keep advancing.. this is only a THEORY i am posting in the horoscopes section.. it’s quite a coincidence that we are “advancing” and that aquarius is the sign of technology.

Chill.. i’m not a horoscope fanatic as you may think.

It is definitely a plausible theory, but I don’t instantly dismiss any of the 2012 theories personally, I have no way of knowing, but it will be cool to see a shift as we switch into the age of Aquarius, I hope it is what the world needs to survive because right now…it ain’t happening. I would be interested to see all of the ages, I wish there was a way I could.

i had quite a bit of discussions about this with some one too..
this is very mind opening.. thank you for that…
but since in aries there is the GREAT conjunction happening from 2012 extending to 7 1/2 years probably…(i mean uranus and jupiter)…uranus brings out-of-the box ideas and a great economical revlution and crzy ideas actually being implemented….yet there is neptune situated in pisces taking us sometimes back to the dreamy world you suggested…
Uranus in Aries brings the self forward in ways to create revolution of self and require new, innovative ways and means.
and uranus is very dominant and rebellious…also technology is ruled by uranus also the telecommunication sector which is rising now…. uranus’s crazy influence will definitely bring the changes evry one is looking for and believe me uranus makes sure that its LOUD enough…:)))
so you cant actually say if the world DOES end at this point of time…
but vedic scriptures(kali yuga) say that there are still a few thpusands of years left for the life of humans to end…
the concept of the world ending gets more and more controversial as you go deeper…
