All medication has side effects, but antronex is not a prescribed medication (not in America anyway). It is sold as a food supplement or “alternative treatment”. It comes from ground up livers of cows and/or buffalo, kudus, and oxen. It is also sold as Allerplex.
I couldn’t find any evaluation that included side affects. There’s very little info out there about it. People are using it for dogs
Antronex is a bovine (cattle) liver fat extract developed in the 1920’s by Japanese researchers. It supposedly contains an antihistamine (yakriton) and also contains calcium.
It is said to play a role in muscle contraction, nerve conduction, maintenance and function of cell membranes, and as a detox… which supposedly cleanses the blood via the liver, etc.
The FDA has not evaluated statements about antronex. If I were you, and you’re having trouble with it, discontinue it and talk to whoever “prescribed” it to you.
