Question by TheUltimate: How can a pot user look at someone straight in the eye and say its harmless?
Ex Bears and Cowboys player Sam Hurd was sentenced today in federal court to serve 15 years for distributing cocaine and marijuana. Here are his own words that he spoke before the judge……

Hurd characterized himself as a foolish, marijuana-addicted rube who stepped too close to a fire whose heat he underestimated.

Among the things Hurd said in court: “My life is a train wreck because of the bad decisions I made.”; “Everything I did was a result of my marijuana addiction.”; “I was extremely stupid. I feel the pain I caused my wife, mother, father, sisters and brothers and my community.”

Those were the words from a person who admitted to be addicted to marijuana.

And to the other reply, don’t tell me its not physically addicting. That’s why people wake up everyday and smoke a bowl to function! I swear the ignorance of people just blows my mind.

Pretty easily. Sam Hurd is just using pot as a scapegoat for his own decisions and behavior. Marijuana isn’t physically addictive. People keep smoking it because they like getting high.
