Alcoholics?
by Chris Yarzab
Question by neon2054: alcoholics?
okay question to all the general alcoholics. What is or was the turning point in your disease that lead you to stop drinking? When is the stopping point for most? How do you tell if you are true alcoholic?
okay, well i know this is not a blog area. BUT i have been in the hospital already for something i did while i was drinking. No permanent damage though. Though when I buy a bottle of scotch I can drink it in three days. BUT I have never missed a day of work. Although gone to work hurting before.

I lost my kids, my man, my house, all my things, my friends,……I went to a drug and alcohol rehab for 6 months. It wasn’t until about 4 months into the rehab I decided to not drink anymore as well as not do drugs anymore…It dawned on me that alcohol was just as bad in my life as was the drugs. It was harder to decide to quit drinking since it’s legal and I could if I wanted to. If you wonder if your an alcoholic, then you probably are. If alcohol is interfering with your life then there is a problem. It has been three years for me since I quit drinking. My life is something I couldn’t have even imagined when I was still drinking.
