I need to know what the negative consequences of substance (drugs) use are and abuse. I also need to know some suggestions about how to make informed decisions about drug use and the positive alternatives to substance use. Thanks

well it all depends on what drugs you are talking about. some, such as meth and crack, can have very harmful effects. the best thing to know how to do is just say NO. but then again sometimes you just have to balance the negative and positive affects which would come from your decision. in the endd, there is never going to be a positive reason to abuse a substance, other then the way it makes you feel. but eventually that high you feel is gone, so in all honesty, you just have to stay away from those who are involved with drugs and alcohol and remember to consider the outcome of your choices. i hope i could help.
