Call the Area Agency on Aging in your community or state. It’s a private non-profit organization that advocates for the elderly. They can help you and make referrals.

Contact “The Department for Aging and Disabled Adults” in your area they will help you find a suitable solution and may even be able to help finacially. They also can provide infomation on in-home care they have employees that do “care-giver andor chore workers services” All their employees have had back ground and criminal checks done prior to employment and they also do in home checks regularly to make sure the person is doing their job etc! in the following link remove the word “delaware” and type in your state that should take you to the site for your mother’s state
