I Have Abusive Parents and I Need Help ASAP?
Question by Spaz.: I have abusive parents and I need help ASAP?
I’ve beaten by my parents ever since I was 4 years old, I’m 13 now. My parents have never given me a single hug, kiss, compliment, or anything. They always cuss and yell at me. I’m a straight A student and they say that I’m probably the most dumbest girl in the world. They said they had reached their breaking point and they couldn’t beat me up any more and that was about a month ago. This morning, I woke up and went to brush my teeth and my dad starts banging on my door and when I opened it, he pulled me by my hair and pushed me to the ground and kicked my back about 10 times, just because I took my dinner upstairs last night and there were a few crumbs on the ground. And this one time, I couldn’t handle it anymore, so I wrote a fake suicide note and my mom found it and both my parents beat me up and I had bruises all over my face the next day….I can’t take this any more, I don’t want to be in foster care and I really need help…

Do you have other relatives that could take you in?
You need to report your parents to a teacher or the police. This likely means that you will be taken from your parents home and place with another family — either friends, relatives or foster care.
There is no way for you to change your parents behaviour, so leaving is really your only solution.
