One thing I know a good substance abuse counselor should know is that their is a guidance system within each one us. When we tune into it at first we might not be sure as to which way it is telling us to go or not go. After awhile we learn how to read it. You have intuition that can help you with your homework. Learn how to relax & let your higherself give you the answers. Learn about intuition because to me it is the most important thing for anyone to learn especially someone going through recovery or teaching others how to not become addicted to substances other than their intuiton. Your intuition might tell you to look in the index of your book or someplace else you will learn how it works & answers will come easier.
