I understand. Treatment centers don’t really do people good. The are just a business, nothing more. When you have a problem (like an eating disorder, OCD, or addiction) and you look for treatment centers, you’ll always find that they have really pretty websites that claim that you’ll leave the center happy and cured. In reality, that’s not true. Most people relapse right after they get discharged and if they don’t relapse right away, they will eventually down the line. Treatment centers don’t care if you relapse though, because they want you to relapse so you can return to their program to give them more of your money.
Treatment Centers cut you off from the real world therefore you can’t really learn how to cope with the things that triggered your problem. I strongly believe that problems like this need to be dealt in a calm enviroment, but they need to be dealt with with the family as a whole and in a familiar enviroment. You can isolate a person and force them to do damn therapy sessions all day.
