Interventions are a difficult thing to do. Not only are you risking your friendship with this person if she decides not to need or want your help, but if she does accept your help, you actually have to help her and that can be very hard.
I would suggest making sure she knows how much you all care for her and that no one is judging her for her actions and that you all want to see the “old” her before all of her problems. Please be prepared for her anger, in case it happens. You need to know she might be feeling trapped and want to escape. Allow her time to think things through, ask questions, etc. Don’t just approach her saying she has got a problem and then don’t offer a solution. You guys need to be her solution, so make sure all of this is ready before you go in.
Lastly, if it doesn’t work out, it is likely not your fault. She might just not be ready for help or willing to admit she needs it.
Good luck!
