Question by Narcissus: Can someone tell me if weight lifting at 14 really stunts growth?
I’ve read some stuff about this on the net but everyone says something different. Can someone please give me more info on this?

If done properly, no it does not.
It’s easy to stunt your growth if you do exercises improperly or try to add too much weight too fast. Teenagers are notorious for being idiots and will eagerly add way more weight to the bar that they can handle and disregard proper form if it means they impress their stupid friends or little girlfriend. When you bench press improperly, you damage your spine, stunt your growth, blame weight lifting (when it was really your own fault), and then weight lifting gets a bad reputation.

no not unless you add like a hundred pounds of muscle to your body and weigh your skeleton down, keeping it from growing properly.
