I Have MS, Should I Stay at a Job I Hate Just for the Benefits?
Question by Jesse: I have MS, should I stay at a job I hate just for the benefits?
I’m 33 years old and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 2 years ago. I am still able to work however I hate my job. So much that it depresses me when I go in every morning. It’s hard for me to quit because the benefits cover my expensive medication. It cost 3 grand a month an I only pay a 50 dollar copay. I’m scared to quit because the next company may not have benefits package that covers this drug or may have a higher out of pocket expense. Should I tough it out or should I find something that I really enjoy?

Keep your job while you look for a new one. You should be able to find out what’s covered before you make a switch.
