i’m still in my 90 probation period until january..
i read the handbook and there is absolutely nothing in there that says anything about drugs..
a lot of people are saying they won’t take the drug test b/c they can sue the nursing home b/c there has to be a valid policy in order to do test us and there isn’t one.. it wasn’t even mentioned during my interview, orientation, or any papers i signed..

Check your employee handbook. Or maybe it was on your application you signed that you agreed to random drug testing. Are you on a probationary period? They may be waiting until that period is over and then test you. No use spending money on someone who doesn’t work out for permanent employment.
