Question by : Fun fundraiser that will bring a lot of money?
I’m having difficulty thinking of a fundraising idea for my sophomore class that would be fun. We do not want a a simple one that will only bring a few hundred but something that could bring a few thousand. We did a Yankee Candle fundraiser and could have raised up to $ 10,000 but no one wanted to participate bc it was boring. We did not make much. Any ideas? Please help!

anything that involves you selling something that costs money is a waste of time. You need to do a auction where you “rent a teenager” for an hour or so. Figure out what each persons specialty is and then auction them off for a cost. The only thing you are out is that teens time. No overhead costs are the best fundraisers. When you sell stuff, most of the money goes to crap the people who buy it never wanted to purchase in the first place. This way, your cause gets 100% of the money received so long as the teen follows up and does the job they were auctioned off for.

Some may mow a lawn, clean up a garage, organize the closet, scrub the kitchen, clean up the schools flowerbed or playground…. what do you want to do? Go with it!
