I went to a Christian Counseling Center for many years. It was nice because if I wanted to talk about my faith in God or religion or anything like that, they understood and can relate. But it’s not like they were pushing religion on me or anything. There were just like a regular therapist or psychiatrist who happens to be Christian or Catholic etc. I think it was a good experience and I found them to be more “grounded” and more down to earth then a regular shrink (who can sometimes be a little weird if you ask me). I wish I knew someone who had gone to christian counselling. I was worried it would be all biblical based methods of healing etc. so I signed up for just a reg. counsellor. Hope someone else here can help you. Good question.
