Salaries for each, please.

Also, I am asking this because I am considering a career in one of these fields. Which one would be better? (aside from salary)

psychiatrist have a doctors degree and studied in psychology and psycologist just studied in psychologist

One is medical Dr. the other is not.I think you need a lot more school.
