I Live in New Jersey and Want to Find a Substance Abuse Treatment Center for My Daughter. Help?

Question by alexis e: I live in New Jersey and want to find a substance abuse treatment center for my daughter. Help?
My daughter has turned to alcohol ever since her dad died. They were always so close and his passing away was really hard on her. Last night we had a talk, and I made her realize that her dad won’t be happy with her if he knew what she was doing to herself. She has already agreed to treatment. Where should I go?

First, you need to know the treatment centers that would be able to help your daughter. Obtaining a list (such as the one I have included as a link below) will be very helpful. You can also ask your local doctor or healthcare provider as to which treatment centers they will recommend.

Hey, I’m sorry about what happened to your husband, but I’m glad that your daughter finally wants treatment. Hang in there. You’ll be fine. :)

Gl and I will keep your Daughter in my prayers. you might want to look into al-anon as well, its for families that have a alcohol or drug problem in the family.
