yeah thats alot more than most would get infact i think starting salary is half that nice try tho

That is a GREAT salary for a mental health/substance abuse social worker. but just an FYI that will probably not be the average starting salary. I would say the average starting salary is 30,000 for a social worker, even with a masters degree. However, if you have student loans you can get your loans removed after 10 years of public service.
