Loss of Appetite, Even the Thought of Eating Makes Me Sick?
Question by : Loss of appetite, even the thought of eating makes me sick?
Let me start out by saying that:
I have anxiety problems, which is probably playing a part in this. (ocd, ptsd (long story), social anxiety, and generalized anxiety, apparently. .___. )
I have irritable bowel syndrome, and I’m emetophobic and get nauseous veeerrryyy easily.
And yes, I’m taking medicine for these conditions because I really don’t want them to control my life, but on to the point:
I’ve recently been through quite a bit of emotional drama, it’s just kind of been like one thing piling on after another, and for a while there I pretty much lost my appetite entirely. As stated in the title, even the thought of eating or the thought of food in general makes me sick to my stomach. I know that “starving” myself isn’t healthy, and I don’t want to get an eating disorder (but I also don’t want to have to force feed myself), so what should I do to be healthy again?
Thanks! c:

You should go see a therapist to work through these problems. I was watching a TV show on people whop overate and one of them went to go see a food therapist. I’m not sure that would help you because you’re problem seems to be under eating, not over eating, but it’s worth a shot.
I hoped my answer helped and everything gets better for you! Good luck!!!!! :)

You should go to your doctor quick, there could be something wrong with your stomach . Then get some advice from him or her. Your condition sounds serious an I wouldn’t be asking people on the internet medical questions that are so serious. Im pretty sure doctors don’t get on answers and dispense advice
