Question by wombat: Movies with women and alcohol abuse?
I need a clip depicting women and alcohol abuse from a movie. If you know of any really good scenes having to do with alcohol abuse (female or not) that’d help! Something along the lines of Requiem for a Dream, but not drugs, just alcohol.

When a Man Loves a Woman. Meg Ryan as an alcoholic mother and wife and Andy Garcia as her husband. Edit- there’s a great scene in it where she actually strikes her daughter because she’s too drunk to know what she’s doing and several good scenes about her recovery.
