Question by Eyes have not seen…: Mental Health?
As a Social Worker, I am looking for better ways to engage clients with severe mental health dx’s (schiophrenia, bi-polar, paranoia, etc.) to get them interested or involeved in their care. Any suggestions of approaches? Also what do u find helpful when trying o speak to a client wxperiencing delusions/hallucinations?

when speaking to them during a hallucination… keep asking them what they are seeing ask them to describe what is going on and calmly talk to them slipping in a couple questions you really want to know the answer to

If you suspect a drunk driver on the road, you should:

A) Honk your horn and flash your lights
B) Speed up and get ahead of him as quickly as possible
C) Turn off at the nearest intersection or street
D) Try to pull him over to get him off the road

I found this in my text:
Warning signs include wide, abrupt, and illegal turns; straddling the center line or lane marker; driving on the shoulder; weaving, swerving, or nearly striking an object or another vehicle; following too closely; erratic speed; driving with head lights off at night; and driving with the window down in very cold weather.
