What Causes Strokes in Teenagers?

Question by Katie: What causes strokes in teenagers?
My friend had a stroke a few days ago. He’s 17, normal weight, and black. He stresses out a lot because of family issues and the academic program at our school. He’s not fat, and he doesn’t eat unhealthy foods. He’s actually really muscular. He doesn’t do drugs, he doesn’t drink. All he really does is homework and theatre. I don’t know what type of stroke he had, but I wonder what could have caused it.
He actually went to the hospital to get help for a migraine. I didn’t know that was a cause though.
