Question by Christine K: what is the difference between a psychologist/psychiatrist/therapist?
I never EVER thought i’d be the type of person to go see a therapist, but i’m some problems that would be one thing for me to handle on my own, but i’m with a guy that i’d like to marry (we’ve talked about getting married..) and these problems are starting to interfere with our relationship and causing a lot of fights (which I am mainly starting) .. ANYWAY i have two questions here:
1. For those of you who have gone to a therapist, how was it? do you think it helped you?

2. Who exactly would i go see .. i’m looking for a provider under my health care and i have to choose between a “master’s prepared therapist”, psychologist, or crn psychiatry

..what are the differences between them?

A psychologist studies actions of humans and why they do what they do. A psychiatrist helps a person out with their mental problems.

A psychologist will probably study you and give you medicine;
A psychiatrist will most likely council and talk with you;
A therapist will make you exercise or use heating methods

Those are the 3; They all use different methods;
