Dependent is just a euphemism.
It just sounds nicer is all.
Answer by John Smith
When you’re dependent of something it means you depend on it to feel good or function properly.addiction means you feel you need a chemical or substance to live.
for example when I smoked pot i felt dependent on it. I was happier when I used it, i functioned better, and I was nicer to people. but when I quit I didn’t feel extreme withdrawls. A meth addict needs a fix all the time in order to not ave withdrawls. it feels like you need it.
