How Many Cups of Coffee Constitute Caffeine Abuse?

Question by Skydog70: How many cups of coffee constitute Caffeine Abuse?
I once took advantage of an ‘all you can drink’ deal offered every morning at a local cafe, and the owner looked at me after I had four or five cups and told me, “That’s caffeine abuse!”, which I thought was meant as a joke, but when I looked him in the eye he was dead serious. Was I really abusing caffeine, and what would that do to me if I was?
